Acrylic on Masonite Panel
48" x 24"

This one is not finished yet. Wanted to see what kind of responses I get.

Kind of surrealistic. An abstract image in the form of a picture puzzle: that has become slightly dis-assembled when the table was bumped.

I really like this one because the puzzle image looks like it is from viewpoints above and below simultaneously. Also, broken images are fun to look at because it forces you to take a closer look to be sure no detail was missed. The angles and different viewpoints remind me of MC Escher.
zpg; good to hear from you again.

yeah, now that you say that there is escher-like quality to it. I always like playing with spacial relationships. Making things seem like they are and aren't at the same time.

also: contrast, comparisons, and relationships. things defined by their relationship to other things.

the broken image thing was part of the original idea of cubism, breaking things down into their component parts and re-assembling them. makes you compare the new image to the old image and forces you to re-see the old image.

one of the reason I like learning other languages is that it helps one relearn his own in the process.

disch!
Learning a new language is fun. I like to tutor for similar reasons of relearning the process and seeing how things connect in a new way. ;-)
fantastic

I love the style u used here.

Broken+broken+broken then reassembled.

this is really nice.

glad you like. yeah, a puzzle within a puzzle. it was fun, but a lot of tedious work too.
